Made a comeback at the Hopman Cup in Perth. Teamed up with Guy Forget to represent France. Won her match against Nicole Bradke of Australia, but lost her other two matches to Iva Majoli of Croatia and Chanda Rubin of U.S.A.

Re-hired Italain coach Sven Groenveld.

Played her first Official match of the year at the Adidas International in Sydney. Unseeded at a tour event for the time in 6 years, beat world # 10 Irina Spirlea in the first round. Lost to Yayuk Basuki in the round of 16.
