16th January,1995   Playing her first match of the year, Mary started out with a double fault, but her troubles ended right there as   s                             she went on to a 6-1, 6-0 rout of Tina Krizan

18th January,1995   Crushed Elna Reinach 6-1,6-2 in the second round.

20th January,1995   A 3rd round, 6-3, 6-3 win over Dally Randriantefy of Madagascar on wind-swept Court 1 was anything but r                              routine for Mary.
                             "It's kind of like a nightmare out there," She said. "There's not much I can do when it's windy."

22nd January,1995  Beat Anke Huber 6-2,6-4 to reach the quarterfinals.
